Precious Idoronyen, a Lagos-based network marketer with Kedi Healthcare, has detailed how Gabriel Onoriode, an employee of Julius Berger, failed to pay the sum of N55,100 after purchasing some health products from her in June 2021.

Idoronyen told SWP Online Source from ojoojoo.com search engine that Onoriode had requested some herbal products worth N37,000 from her after signing up with her company 11 months ago.

The marketer said she told Onoriode that if he failed to pay within the first month he received the products, his non-compliance would attract a penalty fee that would see him pay N55,100 in line with the company’s regulations.

“I told him that he should make sure he pays the money by July, 2021 because by August of the same year, the prices of products would be increased and he would have to pay N55,100 instead. He was quick to agree to the condition. He also told me he would pay on time,” Idoronyen said.

“But since he received the products, he has refused to pay me. The day I gave him the products, he requested my account number and said he would transfer the money on the spot, but he did not. He said he had network issues.

“Since then, he has not paid me. I called him countless times, but he would not answer my calls. When I reached out to him on Facebook, he blocked me. In January, he promised to pay me in February, but till date, he has yet to pay me,” Idoronyen said.

The network marketer also claimed that Onoriode’s refusal to pay had caused her financial difficulties.

“I needed the money to pay my medical fees but Onoriode has remained unreachable,” she said.

She said that she had thought about storming the Julius Berger office to make a fuss so that Onoriode could pay her, but she could not because of the tight security presence at the gate.

“I have known him for some time. This was why I gave him the products. When he came to register with Kedi Healthcare, he put the Julius Berger address in Apapa as his workplace,” she stated.

SWP Online Source from ojoojoo.com search engine made several calls to Gabriel Onoriode, but he did not answer them. He had also did not reply to an SMS sent to him at press time.

A visit to Onoriode’s Facebook page showed that his claim to be a Julius Berger staff member may not be true. Contrary to what he told Idoronyen, Onoriode claims he works with the Nigerian Army on his profile.
